The Two Major Contradictory Explanations for Everything

Scripture and philosophy portray two different, opposing and contradicting, explanations for the origin and sustaining of all things: (1) naturalism, and (2) supernaturalism. Naturalism says all things arose from only naturalistic causes. Supernaturalism explains God as the source and continuation of everything. The two ideas can’t both be true.

The Bible of course teaches supernaturalism in a very detailed manner. From where does the concept of naturalism come? The Bible, science, or evidence – none of these – show or indicate that all things proceeds from merely naturalistic means. People know the Bible doesn’t support naturalism. However, science doesn’t either.

If there is no evidence for naturalism, why do people believe it or live like it? It is a philosophical view of the world that originates from the lust of men. Men want what they want. If there is a God, then their sheer existence comes from God, and they are responsible or accountable to Him. If they don’t want accountability to God, they must eliminate Him, and they do that with naturalism.

Naturalism though really is a ponzi scheme. It usually says something like the natural laws, such as gravity and other such ones, cause the universe. However, laws themselves do not cause anything. They reflect what occurs, very much like explaining why a billiard ball moves on a pool table. It doesn’t just happen. Something of the law of momentum, which is also called the law of action and reaction. The law isn’t the cause. These laws just multiply the problems for a naturalistic explanation, because they beg for an objective source of the law, which is God.
