Christian Zionism?

I went to Youtube and I did a basic search by typing, “Christian Zionism.” Many different podcasts and talks appeared with those exact words in the title, and all of the presentations were negative. One person with tens of thousands of views said it was a “cult.” Others said they would present a list of reasons it was wrong or unbiblical. So what’s true or what’s happening? Is Christian Zionism true? Certainly it matters how one defines that terminology.

A lot, and I mean very, very much, of the defining of Christian Zionism or recounting of it is conspiratorial unfortunately. It’s also twisted propaganda in most cases that just misrepresents what it is or what people believe. Some are attributed the title, “Christian Zionist,” when they wouldn’t even embrace that label or title.

First, I barely to never heard what I believe on this subject called “Christian Zionism,” so I think the people who use it purposefully want something that will sound bad to their audience. Once you look into what Christian Zionism is, you find that it means the support or belief that God will bring Israel, the Jews, the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, back to the historical and biblical land of Israel to regather as a people for a later conversion and salvation of Israel. To put it in the most rudimentary way, it means what Paul wrote in Romans 11:26, “Israel shall be saved.” Paul bases that on God’s unconditional, unilateral covenant as recounted in Genesis 12, 15, and 17.

God will be faithful to His promises, so this centers on the nature of God and His will on earth as revealed by Himself in His Word. What I just presented as Christian Zionism is true. I believe it. It also founds or buttresses my own salvation, because I trust in the promises of God and His faithfulness to keep them.
